Our products

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours and measurements on our website are accurate. However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device, and handmade, printed or individually produced products may have minor variations.

Some of our products are made to order or personalised. Where you provide information for a personalised product, you are responsible for checking that the information you provide is correct before placing your order.

We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product descriptions, prices or availability. If an error affects an order you have placed, we'll contact you as soon as possible and, where appropriate, give you the option to cancel the order for a full refund.

Placing an order

When you place an order through our website, you'll receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we've received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

A contract between you and LucyLovesThis is formed when we accept your order and begin processing it.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, for example where a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing error, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order after you've paid, we'll issue a full refund.

Please make sure that the contact and delivery information you provide is accurate. We cannot be responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect information supplied by you.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown on our website in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

We may change our prices from time to time, but this will not affect an order that we've already accepted.

Payment is made securely through the payment methods available at checkout, which may include Shopify Payments and PayPal.

Delivery

We'll aim to dispatch your order within the timeframe stated on the product page or at checkout.

Delivery times are estimates unless we've specifically agreed a particular delivery date with you. We'll contact you if there is an unexpected delay that is likely to significantly affect your order.

If an order doesn't arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us at hello@lucylovesthis.co.uk and we'll do our best to help.

Unless otherwise agreed, goods supplied under an online order will be delivered within 30 days.

Personalised and bespoke products

Personalised and bespoke products are created specifically for you and therefore cannot normally be cancelled or returned simply because you've changed your mind once production has begun.

This does not affect your legal rights if a personalised or bespoke product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Please check all personalisation details carefully before submitting your order. If you notice a mistake after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible. If we haven't started producing your item, we'll do our best to help.

Returns and cancellations

If you change your mind about a purchase made online, you generally have a 14-day right to cancel from the day after you receive your goods. You then have a further 14 days to return them.

Some products are excluded from this right, including personalised or bespoke products made to your specifications.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect products

We want you to be happy with your order. If your product arrives faulty, damaged or isn't what you ordered, please contact us at hello@lucylovesthis.co.uk as soon as possible.

Your statutory rights mean that products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

We'll work with you to put things right, which may include a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

Intellectual property

All content on the LucyLovesThis website, including our illustrations, artwork, photographs, product designs, logos, text and graphics, belongs to LucyLovesThis or is used with permission.

You may view and use the website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, but you must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially use our artwork, designs, photographs or other content without our written permission.

Customer reviews and content

If you choose to leave a review or submit a photograph or other content to us, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

By submitting content to us for use in connection with LucyLovesThis, you give us permission to use it for marketing and promotional purposes, including on our website and social media, where appropriate.

We will not claim ownership of your content.

We may choose not to publish or may remove content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading or otherwise inappropriate.

Website availability and third-party services

We do our best to keep our website available and working properly, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

In particular, we do not exclude or limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

Subject to the above, we will only be responsible for losses that are reasonably foreseeable as a result of our failure to comply with these Terms.

Events outside our control

Sometimes things happen that are outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, strikes, disruption to postal or delivery services, power or internet failures, or other events that prevent us from fulfilling an order as planned.

Where this happens, we'll do our best to keep you informed and minimise any delay.

This does not affect your statutory rights, including your rights to cancel an order where applicable.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you will also benefit from any mandatory protections provided by the laws of the part of the UK where you live.
