Christmas is only two days away!

Why not use this time to explore all the festive activities London has going on, here are just a few of our favourites...

Need an activity to fill that limbo between Christmas and New Year? There are a range of places to get your skates on this year. Somerset House have their annual rink open, visit The Queen’s House Ice Rink or head over to Hampton Court Palace. There’s also the brand new Glide at the recently opened Battersea Power Station.

Kew Gardens may be sold out for the year, but London boasts a whole host of other twinkly options if you’re yearning for some Christmas sparkle. Kenwood House has a fantastic trail that rivals Kew and of course, there’s always Covent Garden or Winter Light at Southbank for something closer to central.

Kerb are back with another fantastic food offering, this time a range of independent food stalls selling culinary delights from around the world. Take a festive stroll along the Southbank with something mulled in hand and discover tasty treats for last minute stockings.

It’s a great time to use those leftover holiday days and get out and see all those exhibitions you’ve been meaning to. One of the standouts this year has to be Strange Clay: Ceramics in Contemporary Art at the Hayward Gallery, full of weird and wonderful sculptures to alight the senses.
